SUGAR HOUSE OPEN HOUSE

This weekend sugar houses were open to the public. Today, Sunday, I took Masey and Sadie to a local sugar house to learn how maple syrup was collected and made....and taste the samples! This picture is Masey and Sadie sitting near a maple tree with a sap bucket on it. The bucket was for looks because they used tubing for collection. Masey was really interested in the process...and Sadie got her first taste of maple syrup!
