Our Airport Adventure

We were scheduled to leave Asheville on Friday at 4PM, but discovered that our flight into Newark was delayed 2+ hours. This would then lead to us missing our connecting flight into Burlington. So, we exchanged our tickets for ones scheduled to leave Monday at noon. The man at the desk was nice enough to tell me that the 4PM flight was ALWAYS delayed! We set off on Monday with another delay, but a short one. The 4PM flight was already delayed with possibility of being canceled. Thank goodness we weren't on that flight! So, we landed in Newark and had a short layover(couple hours at most). The Newark flight into Burlington was cancelled...I quickly ran to the service desk, with Masey running behind me! We were granted tickets for the 9PM flight. The poor family two groups behind us were given standby tickets and did not get on. So, Masey and I had about 7 hours at Newark Airport...we ate, found Ben and Jerry's, rode the moving sidewalks and played a lot of cards! What an adventure!!
